The destination of adventurous homesteaders seeking a new life in the wild desert of the Southern Arizona Territory. They faced cattle rustlers, Apache raids, and deadly land disputes all to settle along the San Pedro River. William H. Bayless was one of these settlers traveling with his Carlink brand from Kansas. So begins the ongoing history of one family ranching and farming on the Carlink Ranch. Working this land for over 127 years raising cattle, crops, and families.
